What does a website cost?
It depends on what you need: how many pages, which connections and in how many languages. After a short call you get a proposal with a fixed price and everything it includes. I only start once you agree.
Is VAT included?
Laerix uses the Belgian small business VAT exemption, so no VAT is charged. The price in your proposal is the price you pay.
I already have a website. What now?
Most projects start that way. I build your new site and move your hosting and domain as part of the project. Your old site stays online until the new one is live.
Can my website be in two languages?
Yes. You provide the translated text, and I add a language switcher and set everything up so search engines show visitors the right language.
What does care include?
Hosting, an SSL certificate and technical updates. If something goes wrong, you contact me directly. Your domain and email aren't part of it: they stay in your name and you pay them directly to your provider, so there's no surcharge.
Care also includes time each month for changes you can't make yourself, like a new section, new photos or a layout tweak. How much time is set in your proposal. Time is counted per started quarter hour.
Didn't use all your time? What's left carries over to the next month as extra. That month's own time is used first, then the extra, and any extra still left at the end of the month expires.
Can I change the texts on my website myself?
Yes. Every site comes with a simple editor where you change the texts on your pages yourself, without touching any code. At launch you get a short walkthrough of how it works.
New pages, new sections and design changes are for me to do, using the time included in your monthly care.
How do you make sure people find my website?
Every site gets a clear title and description for every page, and a sitemap so Google finds all your pages.
If you want to go further, I structure each page's headings and text around what your customers search for, and add your business details, like your address and opening hours, in a format Google can show directly in its results.
Nobody can promise a top spot on Google, but this way your site does everything it can on its side.
