Is VAT included?
Laerix uses the Belgian small business VAT exemption, so no VAT is charged. The price you see is the price you pay.
I already have a website. What now?
Most projects start that way. Laerix builds your new site and moves your hosting and domain as part of the project. Your old site stays online until the new one is live.
Can my website be in two languages?
Yes. Business Plus includes a second language, and for Starter or Business you can add one for a one-off €399 or €649. You provide the translated text; Laerix adds a language switcher and sets everything up so search engines show visitors the right language.
What does the monthly fee cover?
Hosting, an SSL certificate, and technical updates, plus a direct line when something needs fixing. Your domain and email aren't part of it: they stay in your name and you pay them directly to your provider, so there's no surcharge.
Every plan also includes time each month for changes you can't make yourself, like a new section, new photos or a layout tweak: 30 minutes for Starter, 1 hour for Business and 2 hours for Business Plus. Time is counted per started quarter hour, and anything beyond your included time is €25 a quarter hour.
Didn't use all your time? What's left carries over to the next month as extra. That month's own time is used first, then the extra, and any extra still left at the end of the month expires.
Can I change the texts on my website myself?
Yes. Every plan includes a simple editor where you change the texts on your pages yourself, without touching any code. At launch you get a short walkthrough of how it works.
New pages, new sections and design changes are done by Laerix, using the time included in your monthly plan.
What's the difference between basic and advanced SEO?
Both help Google understand your website and show it to the right people.
Basic SEO (Starter) covers the essentials: a clear title and description for every page, and a sitemap so Google finds all your pages.
Advanced SEO (Business and Business Plus) goes further. Each page's headings and text are structured around what your customers search for, and your business details, like your address and opening hours, are added in a format Google can show directly in its results.
Nobody can guarantee a top spot on Google, but this gives your site the best possible start.
What if I want to leave within the first 36 months of paying monthly?
You can leave at any time. If you leave before the 36 months are up, you pay the part of the build price that's still open, plus €150 to hand the website over to you. The website is then yours to take with you.
The open part goes down by the same amount every month: the build price × the months left ÷ 36. For example, leaving Starter after 12 months costs €999 × 24 ÷ 36 = €666, plus €150: €816 in total.
You never pay more than the monthly payments you still had to make, and after 36 months there's nothing extra to pay. Payments already made are not refunded.
